The 33rd Annual Governor's Conference on Tourism and Recreation will be held April 17-18, 2008.


Updated Montana Tourism & Recreation Strategic Plan Nearing Completion

The final touches are being put on the Montana Tourism & Recreation Strategic Plan 2008-2012.

 


Branding Workshops Well Attended

Seven workshops designed to gather input for Montana’s tourism brand were held over two weeks starting November 6th.

 


Ski Montana Roadshow Grows

Montana representatives hosted two highly successful Ski Montana Roadshows in conjunction with REI in Minneapolis, MN and Seattle, WA.


MFO Manager Elected to AFCI Board

Montana Film Office Manager, Sten Iversen, was elected to the Board of Directors for the Association of Film Commissioners International.
 


MTTA Seeks Participation from Indian Business Owners

The Montana Tribal Tourism Alliance (MTTA) is working on the development of Seven Lodges ~ A Visitors Guide to Montana’s Indian Country in an effort to promote and market Indian-owned tourism businesses on the seven Indian reservations in Montana.

The National Tour Association (NTA) held its annual convention in early November in Kansas City, MO.

 


Montana Promoted Overseas

Travel Montana's International Marketing Manager recently returned from two trips overseas to promote Montana in the UK and Italy.

Butte Makes Ground on Festival Fundraising
